The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) has established Regional Extension Centers (RECs) to provide training, guidance and technical assistance to support meaningful users of electronic health records (EHRs). NACCHO and the ONC are teaming up to highlight how RECs and local health departments (LHDs) have discovered ways to tackle meaningful use and incentive payments.
