The American College of Epidemiology invites nominations for its Outstanding Contribution in Applied Epidemiology Award. 

Nomination Deadline: April 30, 2012

"An Outstanding Contribution in Applied Epidemiology Award recognizes an active epidemiologist for exemplary work in translating epidemiologic evidence to clinical, public health, or health policy applications. Although the eligible nominee is anticipated to have peer-reviewed publications regarding some aspect of this translational work, it is possible that the meritorious contributions of a nominee are primarily documented in unpublished reports or proceedings. If so, some representation of this work should be accessible to the committee for review."
